How do I insert a photo without third party host

Post by jjscsix » Sat Jan 20, 2018 2:14 pm

I have gone to where it says insert photo (below the message box where it says "attachments") and I have inserted a photo from my iPad. It says you can drag the photo to the message box. I have tried that numerous times. I've tried it with and without this around the file name "Image". Nothing works. Any suggestions?

Please don't tell me to use a third party hosting site. That has become more of a pain in the ass thanks to the sites like photobucket wanting to charge extra for that privilege, and other sites I've tried don't work well on an iPad.

Thanks for any help.

Should work without using a third party host, try using Attachments and then Add files?

I thought that’s what I said I have been trying. I am able to create a file using a picture from my iPad. I then try to do what it says....drag and drop the file into the message box. Nothing works. I’ve tried it with and without putting the IMG things around it Image. Nothing.

I am suggesting using the Attachments // Add files button, instead of drag & drop. Per below, for this image.

Okay, I was an idiot and was way overthinking how that worked. Thanks! Got some pics loaded of my new bike. I feel stupid, I’ve been a forum junkie for 17 years!
