Hi,

Do you have any experience with Metzeler Tourance Next tyres.
I rode VStrom 1000 on Tourances and it was very good.
They last for circa 20k km. I tried them on gravel roads.

I found only this according to Tourances on SMT:

Yes, I know :)
Thats why I'm a little bit surprised about average distances on tyres on SMT (according to forum).
I have now ContiRoadAttack2, and I don't feel confident riding on them.

Don't buy Torrance then , perhaps they have updated them but they were horrible on the old aprilia caponord I gad back in 2004 didn't last long iether . Conti road attack 2 were very good on my 950 , I would happily use them again

I got pretty good mileage from a set of Conti TrailAttack 2s. The front's seen 10k miles and still got a bit of tread left, and the rear was looking hunky dory after 5000 miles before I picked up a nail and had to have it replaced.

No grip in the wet, mind, but lasted well.
