Yes, no radiator guard. I didn't see any punctures on it.

Bit of a piss off, though mine has clocked over 80,000km.

Nothing special you need to know. Bolt comes out completely and does right back up again! No drama, no fanfare.

My 2015 looks just like yours and the part schematics look the same for both models with no cover I can see.

Who has strayed from the KTM recommendation of Motorex Power Synthetic 5W40?

That's only a recommendation for temps below 0°C. Above and 10W50 Power Synthetic is the recommended oil.

That said, I use Total 10W50 4T synthetic as it seems to work well and is very reasonably priced.
