SM-T gone, leaving the forum!

Hi all! I just wanted to thank all of you for the great time I had on this forum that is IMHO the BEST KTM-forum in the www!!! Special Thanks go to Kevin, who was allways very helpful and took all the time to answer my (partially silly!) questions!!! Yesterday I trades my 2009 SM-T for a Triple engi...

Re: Custom maps at altitude.

Hi Roadhawg, for a stockish bike I would suggest wether the #14, just smoothend, or the #15, that prooved very good results hereover in Europe so far I am informed, btw. use it by myself now after putting back the bike bone stock to sell it. Map #9 is made for the RC8 stacks that are shorter than th...

Re: Power Commander 5 & Tune ECU custom maps

You would be looking at a smoother ride. I do have a new version of map #15 which should produce more torque below 3000rpm, I have sent this map to a few forum members to see if they like it. Even though I have finished building most of the combination of maps that we might need I am constantly try...

Re: Leo Vince 8414 - What are the #54 Discs?

Kafn8td - While not being a qualified technician, I'm wondering if these discs have anything to do with better compatibility with the stock mapping. Good morning! Definitely not, as far as I know, they are especially for Switzerland to pass their MOT but they are way too restrictive to run them wit...

Hi Arg! Perfect writeup, just the same feeling from my side! Did not try map #8 but with #18 compared to #10 it is absolutelly my feeling! Added 2% and going to follow Kevs suggestion (adding some mor fuelling at certain ranges) this week as soon as I find the time and the steady rain allows some ri...

Thank you for the prompt answer!

I am runing the LeoVince with std. baffles and cats inside (to reduce loudness ;)!), O2 ticked off.

Will let you know my next experiences as soon as I get the time for riding ;).

Cheers

Re: Power Commander 5 & Tune ECU custom maps

Hi Kev, yesterday, as said, the weather hereover gave me a chance to test the new "no. 18" map, added 2% fuelling from 2000 rpm and 2% throttle all over the tables. Bike runs very good with strong pulling, just a little hesitation on lower revs. All together a slightly better first impression as map...

Re: Akrapovics noise reducers

Nice post, my Leo's with my modified 26mm ID baffles ran 95.5DB, 26 mm is the same size as the Akra system, STD Leo baffle is ID 35mm. Your Akra's will never run as hot as the STD pipes, is your SAS system blocked off. Hi Kev, are there any details on your modified baffles (or did I overread it in ...

Re: Cheap air boxes that work

Thanks Roland, what was the height clearance like with the STD stacks? Hi Kev, sorry, did not measure the clearance but it is enough room for the standard stacks, discussed it in advance as well with George for I was thinking of the JC30/90 dur to this matter but George recommended the JC30/65 as w...

Btw., did you change all switch points to 50% or just the ones above certain revs?

Re: Where to start with modifying your SMT/SMR

Hi Mark,

great writeup and great you sent the PCV-map to Kev to have it posted, thank you.

Just a question, in your "stage 3 map" you user the "2011 Akra map" as the base map in the ECU, same with this PCV-map?

Thank you
