I think this has been covered adequately but I used a combination of deburring the edge of the inner rubber boot on the cap (with an exacto knife) and increasing the diameter of the plastic frame (3 torx screws) with a dremel. Nothing too drastic and took me 30 minutes. Lid comes off easily now...

Oh, there's nothing funny about that. But don't blame me, that's the Harley crowd.

Anyway, I'll look into the PR3s...in about three weeks after wear out the new PP on the rear. Another misguided Yankee decision?! :roll:

Tire Authorization ABS vs Standard

Hey, I was doing a little research on tire choices for my bike and noticed that there is a big difference in the number of "authorized" tires for the ABS vs. standard models on the ktm website. Can anyone explain this? I thought initially that the abs list included all models populating the standard...

Another thumbs-up for the 16t... I was initially worried about the sprocket making the bike wheelie happy but that hasn't been the case. The 16t fights the low rpm lumpiness by keeping the bike in the sweet spot longer. The bike behaves much better in-town and you have to worry less about being in t...
